Last night the Lady Puma Softball team presented a check to the Aden Lamps Foundation. The donation came from proceeds for the Lady Puma Classic Tournament. Thank you to the PC community for all their support. Great character by the Lady Pumas.

First graders are learning about Community Helpers, and today they got a special visit! Deputy Quick and his K9 partner, Bear, from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, stopped by to show us how they work together to keep our community safe.
The students were so excited to watch Bear in action and learn more about the important role of police officers.
A big THANK YOU to Deputy Quick, Bear, and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department for taking time out of your day to make this learning experience so memorable for our kids! Thank you to Mrs. Wiesbrock for organizing the event for our students!

Students were able to enjoy the beautiful weather this week by playing softball in PE. Also, Mr. McManus has been teaching his students about the forge in his shop.

At the Primary School, we take math facts seriously—and these super sharp students proved it by answering every fact in just seconds!
Of course, we had to celebrate with a big hallway “Yee-haw!”

These two kindergartners used their Dojo points to purchase the special “Hallway Greeter” job! They had the choice of using Mrs. Mott’s megaphone or some musical instruments from Mr. Alleman’s room—and they made the morning extra fun. Even Dr. T joined in on the festivities!

PC #535: Reminder of the District Facilities Information Session on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the PCHS Auditorium.
The community is invited to attend and hear a presentation from Larson & Darby Group, the District’s architect, on the recent facilities assessment. The presentation will provide an overview of the assessment process along with a summary of identified facility needs and associated costs.
This assessment is the first step in the development of a long-range facilities plan for the District schools. The Board of Education is committed to ongoing communication and engagement with the community as it develops this plan with the goal of providing safe and welcoming environments for students, staff, and visitors.
This thoughtful first grader wrote down some math facts for Polly to practice. Way to go! We love practicing math facts here at the Primary School.
