Putnam County High School is proud to announce that senior Enzo Holocker has read four books from the 2025 Lincoln Teen Readers’ Choice Award master list, making him eligible to vote for the overall Lincoln award winner. Holocker chose the book Skyhunter by Marie Lu as his favorite. The overall state winner will be announced once voting closes later this month. The Lincoln award program encourages Illinois teens in Grades 9-12 to read for pleasure and to become lifelong readers. Named after former President Abraham Lincoln, an avid reader and noted author, the Lincoln Award is sponsored by AISLE (Association of Illinois School Library Educators) and administered by the steering committee. Great work and congratulations Enzo!
