PCPS Families and Community Members: Below is the route for our Halloween parade. We have shortened the route to make the walk more manageable for our students, especially if temperatures are cold. This will allow everyone to enjoy the parade while keeping the walk at a more comfortable length. We will start on Elm Street, turn right onto Main Street, turn right onto Colby Street, and then return to school. Thank you, Mrs. Mott

Mrs. Boudreau's Math class are learning about functions and conducting a function auction. They decide if a problem is a function or not and bid on function problems and winner has to explain why it is a function. Winning team has most functions.

This fantastic first grader used his Dojo points to bring two buddies along for some fun and games with Mrs. Mott! We had such a great time! This was definitely to best part of the day.

Big Thank You to the PC PTO for the snacks for the staff lounge! Appreciate all the treats and support!

Check out these super smart Math Masters! They were lightning fast with knowing their math facts, especially our school rule math facts! Of course, we had to celebrate with a SUPER LOUD hallway YEEHAW!

Join us this Sunday for our annual Grange Halloween event sponsored by the PCHS Interact Club and the PC Rotary.

The PCJH Earth Club spread mulch around the pollinator garden. Great job.

Illinois Principals Week - October 19 - 23.

This week, Putnam County CUSD #535 is proud to recognize and celebrate our outstanding building principals!

Thank you to PCEF for their support of our annual Starved Rock field trip. It allows our school to celebrate being Pumas, team build, and have fun! Thank you to such a great group who supports PC students!

Congratulations to Puma Finley Judd as she finished 97th out of 223 runners at the IESA state cross country meet running her PR. Great job Finley, Coaches Rodriguez and Jalley and teammates Maddie Knapp and Albie Ryan who went down to support and cheer! Great things ahead!

Students in Mrs. Olson's class joined thousands of other students virtually to do a live event with Jeff Kinney, author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Mr. Kinney showed students how to draw some of the famous characters from his books and gave them a sneak peek at his next book.

These two savvy second graders used their Dojo points to purchase an Announcement Takeover! They’ve already got the principal job down pat!

Congratulations to PCJH Puma 6th Grader Finley Judd who qualified for the IESA Cross Country State Meet ! Finley will run at the State Meet Saturday in Normal. There will be a pep assembly/state send off Friday at PCJH 2:30. Great job Finley!

Members of the PC Rotary visited PCES today and gifted each 3rd grade student with their very own dictionary. Thank you for your generosity!

PC 5th grade band and chorus did a great job at the Fall Concert 🎼

Students in Mrs. Baker's Science classes have been applying scientific methods to designing, testing,&improving skimmers to see how far they could get them to go.
