WYSE Team Heads to State!!

    On Tuesday, March 11, the WYSE (Worldwide Youth Science & Engineering) team headed to Bradley University for the sectional in WYSE competition. The team left for Peoria bright and early and full of energy. After 6 hours of test taking the Putnam County WYSE team finished in second place and is headed for state competition at the University of Illinois.

The following individuals placed at the sectional:

Quinton Burcar 2nd in math and 2nd in engineering 

Christine Matern placed 3rd in math

Chase Redshaw placed 3rd in Engineering

Alonzo Khouaja placed 2nd in Physics

Josh Peterson placed 3rd in Physics

Other team members are: Angela Ramey, Mitch Loiselle, Michaela Copeland, Erin Salz, Layne Zens, Elizabeth Jeppson, Stevie Croisant, Andrew White, Jeff Wujek.

The WYSE team will compete April 19 at state.GOOD LUCK!!
