PCHS Ag Department Receives FCAE Grant
$19,722 Matching Grant for Technology

The Putnam County High School Agricultural Education Department, led by instructor Daryl Wragge, recently captured a grant from the Facilitating Coordination in Agricultural Education group. FCAE received 41 grant applications and requesting over $320,000. Less than 50% of the proposals were funded.
The grant is a $19,722 matching award with the school district contributing $9,761.48, along with the FFA Alumni contributing $200.00. The grant will be used to purchase a mobile wireless laptop computer lab for use in the agricultural program at PCHS. The grant will cover 24 laptops computers as well as a mobile recharging cabinet.
