On Sunday the Seneca FFA Chapter held its Annual Club Calf Sale with PC FFA attending. Top quality show calves were shown and sold to the area’s young cattlemen who will be showing this summer. The calves weighed in from the 400 –600lbs. range and various purebred as well as crossbred steers and heifers were presented. Approximately 40 head were offered. The show gives the PC FFA Livestock Team an early view of upcoming confirmation and breed designs when at future judging events. The sale had Angus, Maine-Anjou, Polled Hereford, Simmental, Short Horn, and Limousine breeds presented and brought an $800 - $900.00 average price.
