Dear PCEF,
Thank you for donating a check to give to Blue Ridge Community Farm. Mrs. Laura from Blue Ridge Farm came to Putnam County High School because of the rain we were not able to go to the Farm. She explained to us about what they do on the farm. She talked about the alpacas, the donkeys, the horses, the chickens, and her dogs. Mrs. Laura brought alpaca fiber for us to feel. They made finger puppets, hats, mittens, scarves, soap, and a dryer ball made from alpaca fibers. We were able to do a few activities for Fall. Everyone did a scratch art, made a scarecrow, and played farm bingo. Mrs. Laura also brought us cookies. We had a great morning with her. We hope to go to the Farm in the Spring.
